Summer Camps

At The Stitching Bee summer sewing camps, students ages 7 - 17 will learn basic sewing machine skills and how to use sewing tools and patterns. Camp is designed to get new students up to speed, while more experienced students can move on with more challenging projects. Campers work at their own pace and finish as many projects as time allows. All fabric and supplies are included.

Projects students choose from include: stuffed animals (and donuts, llamas, dragons and unicorns!), tote bags and purses, shorts, a zipper pouch, hair bands and scrunchies, pillows, an easy wallet, and more!

All camps are half day and take place Monday through Thursday afternoon (1 p.m. - 4 p.m.).

• Session One: Monday, June 17 - Thursday, June 20, 1-4 p.m.
• Session Two: Monday, July 8 - Thursday, July 11, 1-4 p.m.
• Session Three: Monday, July 22 - Thursday, July 25, 1-4 p.m.

• Camps take place at The Stitching Bee studio in the Northlake/Tucker area.
• Camps have a maximum of four students with one adult teacher.
• Camps are half day and take place Monday through Thursday afternoons (except for Session Three)
• Sewing machines, fabric, patterns, sewing tools, and notions are provided.
• Students bring their own non-refrigerated snacks. Apple juice and water are provided, or students may bring their own water bottles.
